Quebec Experience Program (PEQ)

The Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) is an accelerated selection of skilled workers in force since February 14, 2010 and specifically designed to:

• temporary workers employed specialized in Quebec;
• foreign students or graduates of Quebec in the process of being.

The PEQ is to quickly deliver a Selection Certificate from Quebec (CSQ) to workers and graduates who request it and meet certain requirements. If necessary, a selection certificate is issued to a spouse or common-law partner and the dependent children included in their application.

The PEQ provides different eligibility requirements for temporary workers and graduates of Quebec.

If you meet both the eligibility requirements applicable to graduates of Quebec and temporary workers (for example, if you have a work permit after graduation and are employed specialist in Québec for at least 12 months).
